•  Dr Gautam’s professional journey is marked by his service to the Indian Air Force, where he worked as a Medical Officer from 2007 to 2013. During this time, he contributed to the healthcare needs of the armed forces, demonstrating his commitment to the well-being of servicemen and women. 
•  He served as the Head of Department (HOD) of Psychiatry at Air Force Central Medical Establishment from 2016 to 2018, and later at Air Force Hospital from 2018 to 2019. These positions underscore his leadership and administrative abilities, which have been instrumental in advancing mental health services.
